The School Day
Our main school gates open at 8:45am and registration is at 8:55am. It is very important that your child arrives at school on time. This ensures a smooth, happy and prompt start to the day. Children who arrive late are put at a disadvantage and can disturb the learning of those who do arrive on time.
Which gate should I use in the morning?
Nursery and Reception children should enter via the EYFS gate on Clavell Road.
Children in Years 1, 2 and 3 enter through the Horseferry Place gate at the start of the day.
Children in Years 4, 5 and 6 enter through the Creek Road gate at the start of the day.
All gates are closed at 9am and any children who arrive after 9am should report to the School Office.
Which gate should I use at the end of the day?
At the end of the school day, please arrive promptly to collect your child at 3:10pm or 3:15pm. If someone else will be collecting your child please ensure that your child's class teacher or the School Office are informed in advance.
Parents of children in Nursery and Reception should enter via the EYFS gate on Clavell Road
Parents of children in KS1 and KS2 should come through the Horseferry Place gate and leave via the Creek Road gate. This avoids conjestion and ensures school staff are able to clearly see which adults are picking up the children in their class.
