Science
Science is everywhere; our pupils encounter it all day every day from nature to electricity. We want our pupils to understand how science can be used to explain what is occurring, predict how things will behave and analyse scientific data and theories.
Through a progressive, skill and knowledge based curriculum we aim to:
- build and strengthen scientific skills within each pupil.
- give each pupil a strong scientific knowledge across a range of topics.
- strengthen the curiosity of our pupils and give them the strategies they need to discover the answers to their questions.
Through the range scientific topics each pupil will strengthen their understanding of the world, preparing them for secondary school and beyond.
