To Make An Application for Admissions
St Alfege with St Peter’s Primary School is a one-form entry Church of England (Voluntary Aided) Primary School for children aged 3-11 years of age.
You are very welcome to visit the school before enrolling your child. Please phone us on 020 8858 3613 option 0 to arrange a convenient time.
To apply to the Nursery
The Nursery has full time and part-time places. To apply to the Nursery you will need to complete the supplementary admissions form which can be downloaded and return this to the school. For both FS1 (Nursery) and FS2 (Reception Class) there is a staggered entry and settling in period for all children.
Enrolling your child in the Main School
If your child is due to start primary school in September 2012 or you will need to apply for a place between 2 November 2011 and 21 January 2012.
St Alfege with St Peter’s is a Voluntary Aided school and therefore you are required to complete two separate forms. In addition to the common application form you will also need to return a supplementary form.
To enrol in the main school, you may apply online or, if you prefer, you may contact Greenwich Admissions on 020 8921 8043. Please remember a supplementary admissions form will also be required.
To Apply Online
You can submit
your application online. This method is fast and simple and allows you to alter
your application at any point up until the deadline.
Go to the eAdmissions
website.
The site is only open while school admissions are being accepted.
The Main School consists of seven classes, from FS2 (Reception Class) (rising 5 year olds) through to Year 6 (11 year olds). Each class can take up to 30 children.
If you do not wish to apply online, you can
apply by post using the common application form.
Further Information
If you want more information about the application process or help in choosing which schools to apply to, please read the Greenwich Council guidance:
Mandatory Changes to the Admissions Code of Practice
The revised School Admissions Code and School Admission Appeals Code were presented to Parliament on 4 December 2008 and came into force today (10 February 2009). The Codes apply to all maintained schools and Academies in England. The revised Codes are available from the downloads section on the right.
The Equality Impact Assessment can be viewed below.
In addition to changes to be considered for 2010/11, some variations in the
already determined arrangements for 2009/10 are also proposed. These include
changes to admission arrangements for maintained nursery provision. Changes are
necessary due to the introduction of a flexible entitlement to a minimum of 15
hours provision, and arrangements to target additional hours beyond this for
children with identified needs.
Please refer to Greenwich Council website for full details and a response form for other proposed changes to primary admissions.
