Information and Communication Technology
Communication and technological skills are taught across the school and integrated into the curriculum. At St Alfegeās we follow the scheme of work for ICT recommended by the local authority. Children are taught how to use the internet and email safely, and they have access to a variety of software packages.
Children experience ICT to enhance their learning across subject areas through their use of:
- our networked ICT suite
- laptops for use in the classroom
- video cameras
- programmable toys
- DVD players
- interactive whiteboards in every classroom
