After School Care
St Alfege is pleased to work in collaboration with MJS Simply-Play Limited, an independent company, who provide after school care for children at St Alfege’s and other local schools.
The fundamental ethos of MJS Simply-Play Limited is that ‘Children are our purpose and Quality is our aim’. MJS Simply-Play was established in 2004. It is a registered out of school provider, which is inspected by OFSTED’s Early Years Directorate. Simply-Play provides an After School Play Club which starts from 3:15pm and finishes at 6:00pm. The Fees are £6.50 per session, and there are also have a limited number of spaces for Parents/Carers who receive income support.
MJS Simply-Play provides a safe place for children to engage in fun activities such as painting, collage, cooking, football and cricket, and to socialise with other children whilst parents/carers work, study or are otherwise engaged.
Holiday Schemes will operate during half term, Easter and Summer Holidays from 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday. These are based at Thorntree primary school and only opening subject to demand. The fees are £20.00 a day or £65.00 per week, which include breakfast and an afternoon snack.
