Behaviour Support Worker required from 23rd April 2019. 35 hours per week term time only, Scale 5 (£22,956 pro-rata)

We are looking for a suitably experienced person to join our team of caring and dedicated staff.  The position is to work with named children across the school. The role is ideal for those who have a passion for helping children manage their feelings, behaviour, circumstances and emotions so that they can overcome these barriers and enjoy a full access to the curriculum and life at school.

What does the role involve?

The successful candidate will be required to:

Establish supportive relationships with children, 

Work with named individuals and their families to plan, implement and review personalised behaviour plans,

To resorce and be responsibile for the inclusion room, including throughout lunchtime, 

To use social stories and other recognised stratigies to support emotional understanding and well-being,

To liaise with agencies and complete any relevant paperwork including personal support support plan (PSP) for focus children.
